In a recent candid interview with Esquire, Brad Pitt opened up about his different stages of life and how he came out of the toughest situations. While he acknowledged going through tough periods where he struggled to see a way forward, he said that survival instincts pulled him through, admitting, “This s— ain’t easy”.

While he didn’t specifically speak about the ongoing legal battle with Jolie, the interview did mention that he’s been mostly quiet despite his ex-wife’s allegations against him. The interaction emphasized that only Pitt, Jolie, and their children know the exact truth of their family dynamics.

While the interviewer tried to ask him regarding the “family stuff,” Brad Pitt seemed hesitant to share anything. The F1 star only replied, saying, “We could leave it at that.”

The comments follow a major legal victory for Pitt in his dispute with Jolie over Château Miraval, the French winery estate they previously co-owned prior to their separation.

In June, the Supreme Court of California granted a motion in favor of Pitt. It forced members of the Stoli Group, new owners of the French winery, to comply in the case. In the past, Pitt had argued that the investors from spirits and wine giant were already aware of Jolie’s sale of the winery back in 2021.

Speaking more of the legal clash between the former couple, it kicked off after Jolie sold her share in Château Miraval, which was co-owned by Pitt. The sale violated an agreement between them that neither party could sell without the other’s approval.

Pitt later took a strict stance against the sale while arguing that Jolie was retaliating after their separation. He even called the sale “vindictive” while filing his suit against her.
