J6 Political prisoner, Edward Kelley, is still in solitary confinement despite President Trump’s sweeping pardons for J6 political prisoners in early 2025.
In August, 2025, just months after the President’s pardons, Kelley was sentenced to 80 years in prison for allegedly “conspiring to kill FBI agents,” he remains in prison along with Solomon Pena, another political prisoner and former GOP candidate in the 2022 midterms.
Pena was also sentenced to 80 years in August, 2025 for allegedly orchestrating a “politically motivated shooting spree,” following his electoral loss in 2022.
Kelley previously sent out an open letter, as reported by The Gateway Pundit, where he expresses frustration for being “abandoned” by the President. He also advocates for the release of both himself and Pena.
Back in July of 2025, a whistleblower even came forward and leaked a private conversation with the FBI, calling for “revenge” against Kelley. Is Kelley’s sentence merely just payback for something that the FBI didn’t like? If so, then that is a clear violation of Kelley’s civil rights.
FBI PERJURY
The FBI called for REVENGE on a #J6 subject prior to arrest, covered it up, and lied about it at trial.
FBI ASAC Joel Feaster held an all-employee meeting prior to the arrest and calmly declared, “They threatened our people, and that’s unacceptable. So, they’re going to feel… they’re going to feel our revenge, okay. They don’t do this shit to us.”
This is the audio of his call for revenge and his trial testimony transcript.
The FBI and US Attorney’s Office never disclosed this misconduct and bias to the defense as required by their discovery obligations. I reported this misconduct to FBI, DOJ-OIG, and the Court PRIOR to the trial. It was ignored and suppressed. At trial, the defense called FBI ASAC Feaster and asked if he made the “revenge” remark. Feaster lied and said ‘No’.
I then reported the perjury with a full 14-page transcript of Feaster’s meeting with his call for revenge and other misconduct. The FBI, OIG, USAO, and the court again ignored it.
What’s worse is that the SAC (Feaster’s boss) heard the revenge. At least 100 people heard the call for revenge and a handful complained about it. FBI personnel in the courtroom who heard the revenge comment and heard the perjury sat silent and did nothing. This is your FBI – morally bankrupt.
The AUSAs were aware of the revenge allegation yet didn’t bother to interview me or anyone to corroborate Feaster’s remark. Those same AUSAs sat in the court while Feaster perjured himself and said and done nothing 9 months later. Please RT to bring pressure and demand accountability of #DOJ and #FBI.

Kelley himself confirmed that he has a Certificate of Pardon from President Trump in a shocking message to the American People:
“To all Americans and freedom-loving peoples,
I am the first man in history to hold in my possession a Certificate of Pardon from the President of the United States and yet still be in prison for the offenses that I am pardoned for. There are no words for the injustice that I felt when I was delivered that certificate of pardon today (Oct. 5th, 2026) in legal mail WHILE I AM STILL IN PRISON! Furious, betrayed, enraged, ignored, persecuted all combined in one still miserably fail to describe what I am thinking and feeling.
I am in the process of begging the appeals court to recognize that President Trump’s mass pardon of patriots, for all offenses stemming from and “related to” what happened at the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021, applies wholly to my case. I should not have to be doing that. Nobody at any level of the criminal justice system has the power or right to deny a presidential pardon. Yet people currently in the Department of Justice and the federal judiciary think that they can, sure as hell did and are getting away with it right now.
If my case is allowed to stand in the courts then the case of United States v. Edward Kelley will be used as legal precedent for generations to keep people imprisoned even if they are pardoned by the president. The pardon clause of the US Constitution will be almost completely voided by a federal judge that leaned on the non-constitutional and false precedent of ‘judicial interpretation’ to ignore my pardon and keep me imprisoned. All freedom loving people need to be something far beyond outraged by my case. People across America need to be mobilized for my freedom and the freedom of other patriots still persecuted and abandoned in the system.
This injustice against me and other patriots needs to end. President Donald Trump could end it tomorrow. I demand to know why he doesn’t.
Stay strong. Stay free. Above all else, stay faithful to God.”
The message was passed to The Gateway Pundit by Daniel Goodwyn, who is aligned with the StopHate, an organization that seeks justice for prosecuted victims in the aftermath of January 6.
President Trump promised to pardon all the J6ers of any wrongdoing and to “end a grave national injustice,” so then why are Kelley and Pena still in prison?
Kelley continues to fight for his freedom and remains a victim of the weaponization of the federal government. His message is clear, and there is still hope that justice will be served for him.
