Finlay Donovan is back!! Here’s the cover of the latest book in Elle Cosimano’s hit series, Finlay Donovan Plays with Fire. This is the seventh book in the Finlay Donovan mystery series. The author told People that this book is “one more opportunity for readers to discover the blend of comedy and thrills that make these books special.” You can check out the amateur sleuth’s latest adventure on March 16, 2027. It’s available for preorder now!

Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is set to star in the upcoming A24 adaptation of The Marriage Plot. This limited series is based on the 2011 Jeffrey Eugenides novel of the same name. The series will be written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Will Arbery, who is known for his plays Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Plano, and Evanston Salt Costs Climbing. It will be directed by Hiro Murai, best known for directing Childish Gambino’s music videos (including “This is America), Atlanta, Station Eleven, and most recently Widow’s Bay. The Marriage Plot will be released by FX and will stream on Hulu.

Ridley Scott and Hugh Jackman are teaming up for an adaptation of the pirate classic Treasure Island, written by Robert Louis Stevenson. Scott will direct this film adaptation, and Jackson will star as the infamous pirate Long John Silver. The script for the film is written by Adolescence writer Jack Thorne. There is currently no studio attached to the project.

Jamata Emill, the author of The Black Queen is back with a new novel that’s being described as “Gossip Girl, but make it Black.” Here is the cover reveal of That Girl Won’t Die! After the death of Kennedy Churchwell’s former best friend Whitney Templeton last semester, Kennedy is ready to be at the top of the social pyramid for her senior year at Prentiss Everton Academy.
