FuturFestival to Debut in México with Cloonee, Lily Palmer, and More

The inaugural edition of FuturFestival México is set to host 56 acts and 14 back-to-back sets by Âme, Marcel Dettmann, Cloonee, Vintage Culture, and more.

On November 13-14, FuturFestival will be hosting its first edition outside Europe. The festival brand, which inaugurated in 2009 in Turin, Italy, is set to now bring its musical vision to Monterrey, México. The México edition taking place at Parque Fundidora looks to host performances from 56 artists.

This lineup showcases a variety of genres, including 14 of the back-to-back performances that have become a staple of FuturFestival over the years. Some of the standout pairings are Âme b2b Marcel Dettmann, Airrica b2b Yulia Niko, ANNA b2b Deer Jade, Bettxrfly b2b LABIBE and Dennis Cruz b2b DJ Tennis.

The programming also features Colossio b2b Game, Iñigo Vontier b2b Paurro, Francis Mercier b2b Mahmut Orhan, Maceo Plex b2b Tiga, Jackson b2b Lilya Mandre, and Massano b2b Volkoder.

From veteran artists like Dixon and Damian Lazarus to newer names such as Tripolism, the lineup reflects both the history and future of global club sounds. House and tech house fans can catch sets from Cloonee, Chloe Caillet, Carlita, OMRI, Rafael, and Vintage Culture. Techno favorites include KI/KI, Lily Palmer, FJAAK, Daniel Avery, and Metrika, offering a range of underground sounds.

Bassheads can look forward to a performance by UK artist Skream, while Diplo looks to add his genre-blending style to the celebration. Rounding out the lineup are acts like Echonomist, YOUniverse, Opuntia, BZARS, Cabizbajo, and AAA, and STOOR, which showcases everything from melodic house to deeper underground sounds.

The festival will also welcome four artists making their debut in México, including two special b2b sets. These are Carl Craig b2b Moodymann, Adiel b2b Quest, DJ Holographic, and STOOR.

According to the organizers, the México edition forges a symbolic connection between the two cities. Just as the flagship event debuted at Parco Dora, a former steel factory, Parque Fundidora in Monterrey sits on the grounds of what once was a steel and iron manufacturing complex. The Italian Chamber of Commerce in México and engineering organization Nat5 will direct a portion of every ticket sale towards nature regeneration projects in the region.
