Destination X, the exciting new geo-guesser reality TV competition from NBC, asks its contestants where the "X" they are from episode to episode, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way the game began. With a reality TV landscape saturated with competitions that look like other competitions, I'm always wary of a new concept despite how much I want them. The current canon of competition reality TV has felt so immovable throughout the last decade that new shows have had a tough time breaking in, but Destination X season 1 may be able to make waves in a saturated market.
