2025 Survival Thriller Beats Glen Powell’s Flop Remake in Streaming Wars 

A Zachary Levi film is leading the streaming charts on Paramount+ in the United States, moving ahead of Glen Powell‘s The Running Man in the latest rankings. The 2025 survival thriller has claimed the top spot on the platform, while the Powell-led remake follows behind. 

Not Without Hope tops Paramount+ movie charts 

Not Without Hope is currently leading the movie charts on Paramount+ in the United States, according to FlixPatrol. The survival drama holds the top position on the platform’s Top 10 list as of March 23, 2026. This places it ahead of The Running Man, which follows in second place. Both films are ranked above several popular movies, including Top Gun: Maverick, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, and Regretting You, among others.

Directed by Joe Carnahan, Not Without Hope was released in U.S. theaters on December 12, 2025. The film is based on a real-life incident from 2009. It involves four men whose fishing trip took a devastating turn when their boat capsized in the Gulf of Mexico. Stranded far from shore, they were left to endure extreme conditions while awaiting rescue.

The cast includes Zachary Levi as Nick Schuyler, Josh Duhamel as Timothy Close, Quentin Plair as Marquis Cooper, Terrence Terrell as Corey Smith, and JoBeth Williams as Marcia. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a 77% critics rating and a 56% audience score.

Set in a near-future world, the film follows Ben Richards, played by Glen Powell. He agrees to take part in a violent reality show in a desperate attempt to help his ailing daughter. The competition forces contestants to evade trained killers over an extended period while their movements are televised.

Other cast members include Josh Brolin as Dan Killian, Colman Domingo as Bobby “Bobby T” Thompson, and Lee Pace as Evan McCone, among others. It holds a 62% critics’ score and a 77 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
