Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Rahul Sharma opens up about his strong bond with Rohit Purohit but NOT with Samridhii Shukla; 'Thodi si introvert...'

Actor Rahul Sharma, who plays the role of Anshuman in Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been roped in by the makers recently. The actor is known for his stint in shows like Kaal Bhairav- Ek Rahasya and more. In the current plot of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anshuman becomes Abhira's friend and the two start with their business sales. Armaan sees Anshuman and Abhira and feels that she has moved on in life.

In a chat with India Forums, Rahul spoke about his offscreen bonds on the sets of the show. He said that he bonds well with Rohit Purohit on the show, but has not been able to bond that well with Samridhii Shukla as of now.

He said, "Main ye kahunga ke dekho bond toh abhi chalu hua hai bann na". He further added saying that a bond does not form in a form in a month, or in 15 days and usually takes around 2 3 months. He said that good moments and conversations form a good bond between two people.

Rahul spoke about his bromance with Rohit Purohit and said that, "Rohit ke sath mera acha conversation raha. Abhi 3-4 dino pehle humari bahut achi baat huyi." He even said that he admires Rohit and he has worked hard for the fame that he receives now. Rahul said that Rohit played some great characters in his career and has got what he had been waiting for with this show after a long time. He even said that he told Rohit that he is really happy about how he is doing now and is happy with the space that he is in.

Rahul spoke about Samridhii aka Abhira. He said that she is an introvert and it will take time to open up with her. He even said let's see how much time it takes for her to open up. The actor even received a warm welcome from Anita Raaj on his first day of the show.

Rahul left everyone shocked when he said that he lost out on 8-9 shows in a row. He even said that he faced a difficult phase in his life when something was lost in his life and it was not just about work. He said that he was removed from shows. He said, "Aap har ek show se nikale jaa rahe ho, nikale bhi as in, aapko le liya gaya hai, aap kal shoot kar ne wale ho, aap ke paas message aaya bhi aagaya hai, lekin aapko pata chalta hai ke dusra banda aagaya hai, aap ke sath shoot nahi kiya aur achanak se shoot, kyun hua aisa?"

On the work front, Rahul entered Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after the show headed for a 7-year leap. Will Anshuman get married to Abhira? Will he help Abhira to get back her daughter Maira?
