"Jeopardy!" champion Courtney Shah dead at 52 as daughter reveals ‘it hasn’t been easy’

Dr. Courtney Shah, a 7-time champion of “Jeopardy!”, has died at age 52 after a battle with brain cancer. Shah, who was a professor at Lower Columbia College for nearly 20 years, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning, her heartbroken daughter revealed in an update on a CaringBridge page. “I don’t know what you believe about death, but I like to think that she’s at peace now. We loved her in this world, and we loved her out of this world, and we’ll go on loving her,” Maya Shah wrote.
