The bad news is that Will Trent's next episode is delayed; the good news is that fans still won't have to wait too long to watch it. ABC's police procedural is based on Karin Slaughter's book series of the same name, chronicling the titular character's work and personal life, which often overlap. Will Trent is a highly skilled GBI agent who works alongside his partner, Faith Mitchell, to solve cases. The two Will Trent main characters frequently collaborate with the APD, but mostly with two detectives — Angie Polaski (Will's childhood friend and on-and-off love interest) and her partner, Michael Ormewood.
