Star Wars’ next theatrical release, The Mandalorian and Grogu, is gaining a lot of hype after footage was shown yesterday at Star Wars Celebration 2025, but fans still hate the film’s title. The Mandalorian and Grogu was announced early in 2024 and is set to take place after the events of The Mandalorian season 3. Not much is known about the plot at this point, but it’s clear that Din Djarin and Grogu are still working with the New Republic out of Adelphi Base.
