President Trump lashes out at the evil globalist agenda that has resulted in tens of thousands of trafficked children. – UN General Assembly Address (September 23, 2025)

President Trump will deliver remarks at the United Nations General Assembly in New York this afternoon in what is expected to be a unapologetically boastful speech about American greatness and hegemony in the world. 

During last year’s UN General Assembly, Trump spoke for nearly an hour, touting his success at ending the immigration crisis and ending wars across the world, and tore into the globalist establishment, Europe’s immigration policies, and the “green energy scam.”

This year’s address comes amid the ongoing war with Iran, which Trump is also expected to discuss.

UN Ambassador Mike Waltz told reporters that Trump will highlight the “importance of ensuring that Iran never has a nuclear weapon,” as well as the 20-point Gaza peace plan, US actions against drug traffickers in the Western Hemisphere, and various peace deals Trump has worked on, NBC reports.

This comes as the US ramps up economic pressure on Iran. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told CNBC on Monday that Iranian airlines will be “shut down around the world” by tomorrow, September 23, threatening any country that provides fuel or landing services to Iranian aircraft. He further threatened sanctions on any bank that provides money to Iran.

In his speech to the United Nations today, President Trump will lay out a clear case for how he is using American Power to confront longstanding challenges and reshape the world to America’s benefit.

From the Iranian nuclear threat, to cartel violence, to securing American interests in Greenland, while others have talked, President Trump has acted. The result will be a much safer and more prosperous world for the American People—and a much more powerful America.

President Trump will highlight his administration’s strategy for ending decades of violence, instability, and foreign interference in the Western Hemisphere.

He will also discuss the Trump administration’s efforts to prevent the U.N. and other globalist institutions from infringing on American sovereignty or imposing a radical-left wing agenda on the American People.

Following his speech, Trump is scheduled to participate in various meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the UN.

Trump will hold meetings with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Greenland, the UK, and Japan, and the President of Ukraine, throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Later, he is set to meet with leaders in the Western Hemisphere with the Shield of the Americas anti-cartel coalition and the Arab member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The President is scheduled to deliver his UN speech at 9:55 am ET.
