T’Nia Miller locked in as Jocasta in Marvel’s Vision Quest series
According to a recent report, The Haunting of Bly Manor star has reportedly joined Marvel Studios’ Vision Quest series cast as Jocasta.
The casting was confirmed to Deadline by sources who claimed that T’Nia Miller is the leading antagonist of the series. It will follow the events that take place after the White Vision variant takes off to regain his memories. More details about the plot of the series have not been revealed. Additionally, the series is the second spin-off of WandaVision, the first being Agatha All Along.
Jocasta, set to be portrayed by Miller in the Marvel Studios production, is a supervillain. She is Ultron’s bride in the comics. However, Jocasta emerges as a positive character later in the comics after taking control of her system, which was initially programmed to stay loyal to Ultron.
Furthermore, showrunner Terry Matalas recently spoke on The Sackhoff Show about the Vision Quest timeline. He stated, “The timeline is definitely navigated. At the end of WandaVision, the original Vision was rebuilt and weaponized, and then had a moment of discovery and acceptance of who he was. Then [he] flew off. [Vision Quest] is following that character, and that character’s journey.”
Matalas further shared his experience working on the show. He added, “It’s been a really wonderful creative experience, and I think we are making something really special.”
