VILE: European Parliament Lets Far-Left MEP Plant a Naked, Gold-Leaf Trump Statue in Its Halls — Dubbed the “Orange Plague”

The globalist elites running the European Union have sunk to a repulsive new low.

In a shocking display of disrespect toward the 47th President of the United States, the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, France, has officially installed an 8.5-foot, gold-leaf-covered statue depicting a completely naked Donald Trump.

The hideous, grotesque installation, created by radical Danish leftist sculptor Jens Galschiøt, is titled “The Orange Plague.”

It explicitly depicts President Trump sitting completely naked on top of a frail, starving bronze figure while clutching a golf club scepter and scales of justice.

According to reports from Hyperallergic, the statue was brought into the European Parliament complex under the official sponsorship of far-left Danish politician Per Clausen, an openly socialist Member of the European Parliament.

The leftist artist arrogantly bragged about distributing over 20,000 3D-printed miniature replicas of the naked statue to globalist bureaucrats throughout the building.

A Parliament spokesperson told CNN that approval is not an endorsement, and that the rules are supposed to bar events that are “offensive or of an inflammatory nature.” Readers can judge how that standard was applied.

Clausen was not shy about the point. On his group’s site he said people who think Europe should not provoke Trump are wrong, and added: “if someone is so thin-skinned that they cannot handle this sculpture being exhibited in the European Parliament, then they have no business on the world stage.”

He also called the building “absolutely perfect” because fellow MEPs and EU commissioners would have to walk past it.

Galschiøt has hauled the same stunt around the climate-conference circuit. Newsweek reported earlier stops at COP30 in Brazil, the Munich Security Conference, Denmark’s Rebild Festival, and Copenhagen “Hands off Greenland” protests, with COP31 in Antalya, Turkey, next on the itinerary.

The artist has been handing out 3D-printed miniatures as “protest tokens.” After the unveiling he told CNN, “Trump likes gold,” and said, “In a way, I think he would like this sculpture.” He also said, “Trump is destroying all the things I believe in.”
