As the real world stands at a technological crossroads, with warring factions either extolling the virtues or screaming about the dangers of AI, Netflix releasing a biopic focused on the most infamous anti-technological domestic terrorist could look inspired or deeply exploitative. It's a bold choice, certainly, but even without the current climate, Unabomber's core story is an interesting one, which is clearly what drew Andor director Janus Metz Pedersen to the project.
