Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro were engaged following a surprise proposal, married spontaneously in what Hill referred to as “perfect timing,” and welcomed their first child together, Capri, a year later. However, in typical Tyreek fashion, the fantasy ended with a penalized personal foul rather than a touchdown. A police report. An Instagram feed that has been erased. And a divorce petition.

Their relationship began in 2021 with a secret proposal, and in November 2023, they got married. Then Keeta posted an Instagram story on December 1st, announcing the birth of their daughter, Capri Hill. In the story, Tyreek was seen cradling the newborn, captioned, “Daddy holding me for the first time.” However, those times spent together soon gave way to a far darker period. And now, weeks after their public controversy, Keeta Vaccaro is moving on with her daughter, without her husband.

In a sweet Instagram Reel that was shared on May 25, Keeta Vaccaro celebrated Capri’s six-month milestone with a DIY bouquet moment that was both sentimental and symbolic. “Capri is turning 6 months old today. I made her a bouquet of flowers 💐,” she captioned the reel. The reel opens with Keeta browsing flowers at a store with baby Capri in her arms, dressed in a pink outfit and a flower-adorned headband, sweet, elegant, and blissful. Then the reel cuts to Keeta at home, carefully trimming pink roses and placing them in a vase. She overlayed the reel with MOE Beats’ ‘Roses.’ And she placed a delicate, multicolored “6” balloon in the center of the bouquet, creating an appropriate background for a milestone that felt intimate, private, and noticeably one-sided.

No Tyreek. No post about co-parenting. The Dolphins star, whose romance with Keeta appears to have slipped into Instagram archives, did not make an appearance. The Hill couple is no longer head over heels with one another.

Hill’s condo was visited by police on April 7 following a reported domestic dispute involving their infant. The next day, Keeta filed for divorce, claiming the marriage was “irretrievably broken,” even though no arrests were made. Hill reacted online, removing Keeta from his stream and continuing to stand up in the public eye.

But while Keeta’s flower-filled milestone was full of celebration, Hill’s absence wasn’t just about the disputes between the couple. It was about his comeback.

From cast to come back: Tyreek Hill’s 15-city sprint signals a new era

Cast off, sleeves rolled, and cleats metaphorically laced, Tyreek Hill is running full throttle during the NFL offseason’s calm, when most athletes withdraw into recovery or relaxation. With the energy of a guy pursuing more than simply yards, he’s pursuing purpose—the Miami Dolphins wide receiver is embarking on a full-fledged 15-city tour after suffering a wrist injury earlier this year.

Fans were excited by Hill’s mysterious “15 cities, 1 month” Instagram Story, wondering if it was a business decision, a comeback tour, or anything more. As information comes to light, it’s becoming evident that this is a comeback. And North of the border, the rollout has already started. Hill began by sharing several Snapchat stories from his Soul Runner Speed Academy youth camp in Montreal, Canada. With the title, “Soul Runner Speed Academy takes Canada. Day 1,” the first photo featured children getting camp T-shirts. In another, he showcased necklaces and chains customized with his trademark cheetah logo and jersey number 10, “Winners gonna get that ice.”

But it wasn’t all flash. Hill’s direct talk to the campers was one of the most memorable parts. He told the kids, “Myself as a 10-year vet in the NFL, I still run to every spot on the football field. It’s very important. I teach every rookie that comes into the league…to run to every spot. It builds something inside of you.”He captioned that moment: “Set the Example! ☝🏾 Start them young — Run to every spot in your drill 😌.”

Hill’s offseason approach is characterised by this type of mentoring. He isn’t merely preaching speed, but sowing seeds. His Soul Runner Speed Academy emphasises discipline, culture, and legacy with drills and dashes. In the offseason, Hill is changing the rules for NFL players by possibly spreading these camps among 15 locations. It’s a physically taxing program, particularly after surgery, but it emphasises his philosophy that healing should not equate to retreat.
