Parks and Recreation remains popular for a reason, but it didn't hit its stride until Season 3. At that point, the romance between Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) elevated the show to an all-timer sitcom. But the Season 3 final, "Li'l Sebastian," threw a wrench into Leslie and Ben's already turbulent secret affair when Leslie was approached by a group that suggested she run for city council, giving her the opportunity to chase her dreams. It's a great cliffhanger as the twist complicates the affair between Leslie and Ben while also giving Leslie a strong goal for next season, but it's the start of a repetitive pattern for the series that ultimately becomes the worst mistake.
