One of the biggest phenomena of modern fandom culture is agenda posting, and it can arguably be traced back to Jujutsu Kaisen. When the manga was at its peak of popularity in the final arc, the fandom was filled with memes that both hyped characters up as badasses or made fun of them for being losers or “frauds”, and it wasn’t long before that rhetoric spread to fandoms that aren’t even involved with anime and manga.
