TV is quickly becoming the go-to medium for book adaptations, with examples ranging from Percy Jackson & the Olympians to Bridgerton. Yet, despite this rising trend, many popular novels have yet to make it to the screen. When it comes to adaptations, a too-often-overlooked source is the young adult genre. Many beloved series can cater to a wide audience if done right and often already have a dedicated following. One recent example is Netflix's Shadow and Bone, which became a popular fantasy series despite its premature cancellation. However, it's time for a different trilogy to get the TV treatment.
