There’s a Evangelion Asuka Shikinami Langley Test Suit Nendoroid

During the June 2025 Nendoroid FUNS presentation, Good Smile Company offered a look at the Asuka Shikinami Langley Test Suit Plugsuit Nendoroid based on Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. There’s no release date for it yet, as the figure is still in development. She’s fairly far along though, as a painted prototype appeared in the video.

The painted prototype of this Asuka figure appeared with glimpses of two poses and face plates. In one, she’s smiling broadly. In the other, she’s looking toward the side and seems surprised. She’s wearing the full red and orange plugsuit, complete with matching hair parts. No accessories were shown.

This isn’t the only time an Asuka Shikinami Langley Test Type Plugsuit figure based on Evangelion 2.0 appeared. Kotobukiya made a 1/6 scale figure of her in 2021. After that, Good Smile Company released a scale figure based on that look in 2024.

The Asuka Shikinami Langley Test Suit Plugsuit Nendoroid is in development, and Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance is available to stream on Amazon. The original anime is on Netflix.
