The Traitors show began on June 12 with Karan Johar being the host. The first episode of the show aired of Amazon Prime Video. The show has 20 participants. Some of the biggest names from the industry are a part of the game. Anshula Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Raftaar, Karan Kundrra, Jasmin Bhasin, Jannat Zubair and many more are in the game to win the final price. Well, the show has got its first eliminated contestant as well.

As per the reports, in the second episode of The Traitors, Apoorva Makhija will call out the traitor. She will figure out that he is the one and will get everyone convinced. Businessman and Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra is the first one to get eliminated from the show. Apoorva manages to identify him as the traitor and he has to exit the show. Raj Kundra joking says that his wife is right as she say that he cannot lie to save his life. He mentioned that he had entered the show to win hearts and he is glad that he stayed true to himself. He also extended his best wishes to other participants.

Talking about the show, it is inspired by an American TV show with the same name. After it achieved tremendous success among viewers, its Indian version came into making. The American show is also inspired by a Dutch show called De Verraders. In the show, the contestants are divided between two teams - traitors and faithfuls. The Faithfuls have to identify the traitors before they are murdered.

Apart from those mentioned above, stars like Ashish Vidyarthi, Uorfi Javed, Lakshmi Manchu, Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvi Gaur, Mukesh Chhabra, Harsh Gujral, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sahil Salathia and Sufi Motiwala are a part of the show. One among these will win the final prize of Rs 1 crore. The show is being shot at Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer. The Traitors is expected to keep fans busy until Bigg Boss 19 begins.
