The Rookie's enormous cast is one of the best parts of the show, but moving forward, it needs to increase its focus on 1 character. Every character in the police procedural has their own special characteristics and everyone feels different. Although there are so many of them, most of them have gotten episodes from their own perspective to give the fans a better look into their lives and their jobs. By doing this, the audience feels a deeper connection to The Rookie cast, especially in the big moments.
