The City of Angels has only gotten spicier since the rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Members Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante (along with original guitarist Hillel Slovak), and Chad Smith have long familiarized themselves with the many contradictions of Los Angeles. Over the years, they've turned to the city for reflection, breaking down the glitzy facade and really digging into its dark underbelly.
