The first season of The Pitt has come and gone, and although the entire show takes place over only 15 hours, it still features more than its fair share of grueling cases for the workers of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center to deal with. Between dealing with mass shootings, a young boy who ends up brain-dead after taking a bad batch of drugs, and even someone just constantly asking for a sandwich, there’s nothing Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) and his team haven’t seen. However, there are some things that the crew considered putting in the show that didn’t make the final cut. During a recent interview with TV Insider, The Pitt creator R. Scott Gemmill revealed two stories that were discussed but ultimately left out:
