The apocalypse will indeed be televised, but who will take part in it? That's the million-dollar question after Peacock officially ordered a live-action show based on Matt Dinniman's Dungeon Crawler Carl books from Family Guy and The Orville mastermind Seth MacFarlane earlier this month. The science-fiction action LitRPG series has evolved from cult favorite to smash hit, thanks in part to its colorful characters that stretch the limits of imagination within the post-apocalyptic World Dungeon. From the titular boxer-wearing former lifeguard-turned-dungeon-crawling badass himself to his unexpected partner, his ex-girlfriend's award-winning cat Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk, and the various other competitors and aliens they meet along the way, there will be a real challenge to find the right faces and voices to fit the one-of-a-kind universe.
