The Good Husband Guide – The Alters

The Good Husband is an optional task in The Alters, but it’s time-sensitive. If you leave the mission for too long, it will automatically fail, and you will not be able to get the task again without playing through.

The Good Husband is one of many optional tasks that Jan receives through communications with the corporation. For this objective, the corporation has asked Jan to speak with his ex-wife regarding her understanding of the Alters.

The objective is simple, find an Alter who knows how to talk to Lena. There is a small chance you will be unable to complete this optional task.

This is because you need a specific Alter available. If you do not have the resources to create a new Alter, you may not have time to finish the mission before it fails.

The Alter Who Knows How To Talk To Lena

The Alter who knows how to talk to Lena is the Botanist. You can work this out by investigating the Quantum Computer and looking at the different Alterate points available.

The Alterate point for the Botanist is at a point in Jan’s life where he decides to stay, instead of moving like his wife wanted.

Once you complete this optional task, you unlock the ability to grow Polymers in the Greenhouse.
