Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' five-year mission is coming to an end. In advance of the release of its third season next month, Paramount has announced that their flagshipStar Trek series has been renewed for its fifth and final season. The series' fourth season is currently in production, and the fifth season will begin production later this year. The five-season order fits the pattern established by two of Paramount+'s previous Star Trek series: both Discovery and Lower Decks have concluded with their own fifth seasons.
