The Blockchain Group Acquires 624 BTC for €60.2M, Reports Over 1,000% YTD Bitcoin Yield

The company also reported an exceptional Bitcoin yield of 1,097.6% year-to-date, reflecting the effectiveness of its strategic accumulation plan.

The recent acquisitions were completed through two major transactions. On May 20, 2025, the company finalized a private placement worth €6.8 million, enabling the purchase of 80 BTC. This was followed by a €52.5 million convertible bond issuance on May 26, subscribed by Fulgur Ventures, which funded the acquisition of an additional 544 BTC.

As a result, The Blockchain Group now holds 1,471 BTC, with a total valuation of approximately €131.9 million. The average acquisition cost for this Bitcoin treasury stands at €89,687 per BTC.

Since the beginning of 2025, the company has achieved a BTC yield of 1,097.6%, with a total gain of 439 BTC during the year. In monetary terms, this translates to a Bitcoin capital gain of nearly €42.3 million year-to-date, including €28.6 million in the current quarter alone.

These milestones reinforce The Blockchain Group’s strategy of using Bitcoin as a core treasury asset, a move that aligns with its broader commitment to digital innovation.

The company is focused on increasing its Bitcoin holdings relative to its fully diluted share count, as part of its ongoing mission to provide exposure to digital assets across its data intelligence, AI, and blockchain consulting businesses.
