Some movies start as a joke and somehow end up becoming the real thing. That is basically the magic trick Galaxy Questpulls off. It spoofs sci-fi fandom, washed-up TV actors, and convention culture, but it does it with so much affection that it slowly transforms into a genuinely great space adventure in its own right. The result is a movie that fans have loved for years, whether they came to it through Star Trek, comedy, or just pure word-of-mouth.
