Throughout the run of The Bear, viewers got the chance to see more than just the close relatives of Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), with the extended Berzatto family getting the chance to flesh out the story. The Bear uses the culinary arts as a narrative device to portray how Carmy deals with grief after Mikey's (Jon Bernthal) suicide, but the show is about Carmy's psyche, with the Berzatto family, whether blood or not, playing their own role within that dynamic.
