If your plans for the first weekend in April are to binge-watch the best films on Netflix, you’ve come to the right place.

The streaming giant has just released its global top 10 most-watched film titles right now, and the list is so diverse that there’s a movie for everyone.

Whether you want to kick back with a bit of K-pop or feel nostalgic with a classic noughties rom-com, there’s also plenty of drama, action and adventure genres available.

When two strangers meet in Vegas after being dumped and fired, they end up getting drunk and married.

The next morning, after both agreeing that the nuptials were a mistake, they attempt to get a divorce.

Steve Carell reprises his role as Gru in this 2022 Minions movie. Set in 1975, it follows a young Gru who dreams of becoming a supervillain.

But after his attempt to join the Vicious 6 goes awry, Gru and his Minions must go on the run.

Three women fall victim to a ruthless phone scam. However, they refuse to go down without a fight.

Banding together, they decide to take on the criminal network responsible for stealing their money. Will good prevail?

6. The Bad Guys 2 — 4,300,000 views

For lovers of the Bad Guys franchise

Orange is the New Black legends Danielle Brooks and Natasha Lyonne star in this second animated film of the Bad Guys franchise.

In a nutshell, it follows reformed criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula as they try very hard to be good.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t last for long, as they’re recruited by a new team of baddies — the Bad Girls — to pull off a heist.

5. Mardaani 3 — 4,400,000 views

Mardaani 3 is a 2026 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film, a sequel to the 2019 film Mardaani 2 and the third instalment in the Mardaani Trilogy.

It centres around police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy as she investigates the case of 93 missing girls who have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

4. KPop Demon Hunters — 4,900,000 views

Somehow, KPop Demon Hunters is still in the charts. Currently enjoying its 41st week in the top 10, 99.9% of Netflix viewers are familiar with the premise.

But for those who have been living under a pop culture rock, it follows the fictional KPop band, HUNTR/X, who, by day, perform to millions of fans, and by night, fight demons.

3. Anaconda — 7,900,000 views

Paul Rudd and Jack Black star in this action-comedy about two best friends, Griff and Doug, who have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favourite movie, Anaconda.

Thanks to a joint midlife crisis, they decide to go for it and head deep into the Amazon jungle to make their dream a reality.

In a major plot twist, things get a little too real when a gigantic anaconda starts hunting them down.
