Taylor Sheridan's Landmark Neo-Western Strides Up the Streaming Charts

Director David Mackenzie has had a famously diverse career, having made, among other things, a period epic, a sex comedy, and a prison drama. He has two films just this year, the thriller Relay, and the heist movie Fuze. But his crowning achievement remains a nearly decade-old Western that is perhaps the best Coen brothers movie that the Coen brothers had nothing to do with. Hell or High Water is a fan-favorite, and it recently witnessed a spike in interest on the domestic iTunes charts, according to FlixPatrol. Part of the reason for its success can be attributed to the sustained popularity of the series Yellowstone, with which it shares writer Taylor Sheridan.
