Sylvester Stallone and Samuel L. Jackson are two icons of Hollywood, so putting them together in the same crime franchise was always going to be a magnetic proposition. Jackson is preparing to take the lead in his own spin-off from Taylor Sheridan's hit Paramount+ series Tulsa King, but Stallone's Dwight Manfredi is there to do a lot more than hand over the keys to the kingdom. In fact, The General is going to have a bigger role than anyone might have anticipated.
