A new update has now confirmed whether Superman’s post-credits scene will feature Brainiac or Amanda Waller. This follows recent speculations that suggested major DCU character introductions might be on the way.
Don’t expect Brainiac to appear in Superman’s post-credits scene
According to insider ViewerAnon, “No, none of that stuff – Brainiac, Waller, Sam Lane – is in the movie. And I’ve been told directly that there is no post-credit Brainiac tease or anything of the sort.” This clarification comes amid speculation following unverified reports that the film would introduce Brainiac or tease future villains in its closing moments.
ViewerAnon, who has previously shared credible DCU test screening details, addressed the rumor in a recent r/DCULeaks thread. He rejected claims that two post-credits scenes were planned, one introducing Brainiac and another featuring Hal Jordan from Lanterns. These reports remain unverified and directly conflict with ViewerAnon’s statements.
In the same thread, ViewerAnon provided broader context on the film’s production. He stated that the movie underwent editing changes after internal test screenings and that late adjustments included removing risqué jokes and bringing in a second composer. He noted, “They’re testing it a final time this week so I’ll get an idea then,” implying that the post-credits content had already been finalized.
Additional details from ViewerAnon confirm that Amanda Waller and Sam Lane do not appear in the final cut. He also noted that Superman underwent minimal structural changes during post-production. According to him, total reshoots lasted less than a week.
The film features David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Milly Alcock as Supergirl. James Gunn wrapped filming earlier this year and shared that the project aimed to portray “a good man in a world that isn’t always so much.”
