Warner Bros. has revealed a new batch of Superman posters for DC Studios‘ highly anticipated superhero movie led by David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. It is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 11, 2025. Even though the film won’t have a major box office competitor on the day of its theatrical release, it will still be debuting in the same month as other high-profile movies like Jurassic World Rebirth, Eddington, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Fantastic Four: The First Steps.

“In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind,” reads the synopsis.

What DC villains are in the Superman posters?

The new posters give the spotlight to the upcoming movie’s main antagonists, including Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teshmacher, Anthony Carrigan as Metarmorpho, and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. The ensemble cast also includes Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.

Superman is written and directed by James Gunn, based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. This serves as the first installment of DC Universe’s Chapter One: Gods and Monster saga. The movie is executive produced by Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther. The creative team also includes director of photography Henry Braham and composer David Fleming, along with editors William Hoy and Craig Alpert.
