Fans recently reacted to a plot twist in the friendship between Steffy and Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful. It happened on Tuesday’s episode when the duo slept together. After waking up, they immediately panicked and regretted their decision, which has now put their marriages at risk.

The Bold and the Beautiful fans took to social media to point out the predictability of the plot since the time Steffy comforted Carter over his relationship with Daphne. Some claim that they knew what turn the plot was going to take since it was learned that Daphne couldn’t have a baby, which potentially could impact her marriage with Carter in some way.
They say that the plot twist was expected ever since Steffy started comforting Carter, even before the trip, which subtly implied that their bond could grow much closer. Many were also disappointed in the fact that the show doesn’t let a basic friendship remain as is but anyhow brings the love angle.
In the recent episode, Steffy and Carter both regretted being physical, but they couldn’t have a conversation around it, as the former left immediately once she saw multiple texts from her husband, Finn. In them, Finn mentioned that he’s on his way home, which led Steffy to rush. Meanwhile, Carter was left behind to clean up the mess from the office before he was paid a visit by Daphne.
Daphne apologizes to Carter, saying that she shouldn’t have run away and that she made a terrible mistake. Elsewhere, Steffy returns home and discusses with Sheila the Monaco situation involving her, Finn, and Sheila. Their conversation is interrupted by Finn, who confesses how much he loves Steffy. He presented her with a heartfelt apology and wanted her to accept it and let go of his mistake.
