Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s popcorn bucket is hiding a villain in plain sight. The upcoming film’s collectible theater merchandise appears to tease a major antagonist for the new installment.

All Spider-Man: Brand New Day popcorn buckets revealed

AMC, Regal, Cinemark, and Marcus Theatres revealed their exclusive Spider-Man: Brand New Day popcorn buckets and collectibles ahead of the film’s July 31 premiere. AMC leads the lineup with a Spider-Man Head bucket molded after the hero’s mask.

The bucket features raised webbing and large white eyes. Additionally, the Spidey Suit bucket wraps a traditional shape in the costume’s red-and-blue design. AMC’s Thwip Cup with Action Straw pairs comic-style skyline art with a light-up Spider-Man topper. The chain also offers a mystery topper cup featuring three Spider-Man poses and a Thwip blanket. AMC has not yet announced pricing for its collectibles.

Meanwhile, Regal’s Wall Crawler popcorn tin quickly became the most talked-about piece of the lineup. The tin takes the shape of a New York walk-up building with a fire escape and deli-grocery awning. A sculpted Spider-Man scales the brick wall on its exterior. Regal’s Premium Collectible Combo pairs a lidded mask bucket with a costume-patterned cup. Notably, Scorpion appears reflected in Spider-Man’s eye on the mask artwork.

On the other hand, Cinemark’s headline item is the Spider-Man Combo Container shaped like a sculpted webbed hand. Popcorn fills the cone of webbing while a drink slot rests inside the wrist area. The container comes with a free same-day refill at participating locations. Cinemark’s $40 XD Super Ticket bundle includes admission, a mini poster, a phone mount, and a hat.

Furthermore, Marcus Theatres listed its full collection online with prices already attached to each item. The 65oz Web Shooter snack and drink container costs $49.99 as the priciest piece available. Marcus also offers a 130oz Building Popcorn Bucket for $28.99 featuring the same deli-grocery design. A 32oz character cup with Spider-Man perched on the lid retails for $14.99. Every Marcus item ships starting Monday, July 27.
