Josh Gad's Spaceballs sequel has its first returning cast member. Comedy legend Mel Brooks, who co-wrote and directed the original film, will be returning to play the Yoda-like sage Yogurt. Brooks played two roles in the film, but there's no indication that he'll return to the villainous role of President Skroob (which is, of course, "Brooks" backwards). Deadline reports that the film has also been added to Amazon MGM's release calendar: it is now slated to hit theaters in 2027.
