Sinners star Michael B. Jordan opens up about how his late friend and Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman helped shape his performance. Jordan rose to prominence starring in Ryan Coogler's directorial debut Fruitvale Station before achieving global stardom playing Adonis "Donnie" Creed in the Rocky spinoff trilogy Creed. He reunited with Coogler to play Erik Killmonger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Black Panther, which featured Boseman as the titular hero, and returned to the role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever following Boseman's death.
