We finally know when Shōgunwill unsheath its sword again. The hit FX series will begin filming in January 2026, so don't expect season two to arrive any time soon. We also now know that returning star Hiroyuki Sanadawill be joined by another returnee from season 1: Cosmo Jarvis will return as marooned Englishman John Blackthorne.
