In 2023, Shadow and Bone aired its final episode, despite having a dedicated fan base and much more story to adapt; this is just one of many female-led fantasy series that were taken off the air way earlier than they should have been. Fantasy has long been a popular genre, and has spawned some truly iconic stories, from Lord of the Rings to The Chronicles of Narnia. However, even with lots of interest in these titles, some fantasy shows aren't given the proper amount of time to shine. Without overwhelming viewership numbers, these shows often get left in the dust.
