Bridgerton might have brought period romance back into fashion, but Sanditon is undeniably the much better Regency drama. Inspired by an unfinished Jane Austen manuscript of the same name, Sanditon is about a seaside town with a fledgling resort poised for prosperity in the same era as Bridgerton.
