Russell Crowe may not be the forceful leading performer that he once was, but that hasn’t stopped him from starring in new movies almost every year. To close out 2025, Crowe starred in his long-awaited WWII courtroom drama, Nuremberg, which was something of a passion project of his that he invested heavily into getting to the big screen. After grossing over $50 million in theaters, the film is now streaming on Netflix. Crowe is also hard at work filming his next big action movie with Henry Cavill, which is a Highlander reboot from director Chad Stahelski. Crowe and Cavill previously worked together on Man of Steel, the 2013 comic book movie written by Christopher Nolan and directed by Zack Snyder, so the duo has some established chemistry.
