2026 hasn’t exactly been a benchmark year for Ridley Scott, but one show you didn’t realize he was attached to is proving its staying power on streaming charts. After almost 10 years away from the world of sci-fi, Ridley Scott officially returned to the genre earlier this year for the premiere of The Dog Stars — it had been since 2017’s Alien: Covenant since Scott last directed a sci-fi movie. However, The Dog Stars didn’t even manage to eke out $30 million at the box office, and it left theaters as one of Ridley Scott’s lowest-grossing movies in history. Ridley Scott fans were also dealt a blow when it was announced that one of his well-liked shows on Apple TV, Dope Thief, would not be coming back for another season. That isn’t the only show Scott has done with the streamer, though.
