Many fans on the internet noted several potential Easter eggs from Swift that they believed indicated that the singer would be announcing the new version of her 2017 album at the 2025 American Music Awards.

However, Taylor Swift not only skipped the 2025 AMAs altogether but also gave out no information regarding when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) could be coming out. The singer secured a total of six nominations across 36 categories at this year’s AMAs, but won no awards at the event.

At the time of writing, Swift has confirmed the re-recording of her first six albums. The pop sensation decided to embark on this journey after producer Scooter Braun gained ownership of the master recordings of Swift’s first six albums for $300 million back in 2019, as per Financial Express.
