While there was initial uncertainty about whether Reacher's new 8-part spinoff series could succeed in the wake of Prime Video's massive action thriller franchise,Neagley proves that it can very much stand on its own two feet. The uncertainty stemmed from several factors, including the minimal involvement from Reacher frontman Alan Ritchson, who mainly serves to pass the baton rather than maintain his role as the face of the franchise, and the fact that Neagley season 1 is a completely original story not based on an existing and proven source.
