The Flash
“Project Hail Mary” directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have briefly discussed their treatment for “The Flash” movie back in 2015, nearly a decade before it was produced.

Talking with Happy Sad Confused, the pair confirmed they did a “very elaborate treatment” which Lord says was “pretty different” from the 2023 film. They won’t discuss what the idea was as Lord says: “It’s a good idea that I’m afraid to not be able to use someday. That’s all I’ll say.”

Star Wars
John Boyega recently spoke about whether a return to his character of Finn from the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy could potentially be on the table for sometime in the future. When it was suggested at MEGACON Orlando he reach out to Lucasfilm’s new CCO Dave Filoni, he said: “I actually have, actually.” He didn’t elaborate further. [Source: Screen Rant]

Invincible
Robert Kirkman has offered a brief update on the live-action “Invincible” film, saying while the animated series is in production it is on the back burner. That said, it’s not dead either.

He tells Screenrant: “Our focus right now is on the show… there’s certainly movement here and there behind the scenes, but nothing that we can reveal just yet.”

Highlander
New photos are circulating showing off Henry Cavill in London, dressed all in black, on the set of Chad Stahelski’s currently filming “Highlander” reboot. In the photos, a make-up added scar has been added to the character’s face. Shooting is expected to continue through to around mid-year ahead of a 2027 release.
