A quadruple amputee has been accused of shooting a man to death while driving.
Dayton James Webber, who is a professional cornhole player, was driving his car in Charles County, Maryland, when an argument broke out between him and his passenger Bradrick Michael Wells.
Webber, 27, had driven with Bradrick to pick up two colleagues who were sat in the backseats.
While driving, an argument broke out between the pair and Webber allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot Bradrick twice in the head.
He pulled over and told the two witnesses to remove Bradrick’s body from the car but they refused.
They managed to flag down a police officer but Webber had driven off with the body.
Bradrick was later discovered on the side of the road.
Webber has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Police say that Webber’s vehicle was later located in Charlottesville, Virginia, and Webber was found at a hospital seeking treatment.
Diane Richardson, of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, said: ‘It’s early in the investigation, but there’s no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone.’
According to reports, Webber underwent a quadruple amputation as a baby after contracting a blood infection.
