PWHL Seattle has officially rounded out their exclusive signing window with their fifth and final player.
Goaltender Corinne Schroeder signed a two-year standard player agreement on Friday, the team announced Friday.
The former New York Sirens netminder was the first to record a shutout in PWHL history on Jan. 1, 2024. She finished the 2024 season as a Goaltender of the Year finalist with a .930 save percentage.
She started 20 games in the 2024-25 season, finishing with a 10-8-2 record and a .919 save percentage. She led the PWHL with four shutouts.
“With four shutouts this season, more than anyone in the league, she’s shown she can take over a game and deliver when it matters most,” general manager Meghan Turner said in a statement released by the team. “She brings poise, confidence, and the kind of elite goaltending every team needs to win, and we can’t wait to see her between the pipes for us.”
Schroeder joins Hilary Knight, Alex Carpenter, Danielle Serdachny and Cayla Barnes as the inaugural five players on the team.
The PWHL expansion draft takes place on June 9.
