Amazon has made no secret of its ambition to turn Prime Video into a home for prestige fantasy television. From The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power to The Wheel of Time, the studio has invested heavily in jaw-dropping live-action series. Yet, despite all that scale and spending, Prime’s most consistently brilliant fantasy series isn’t a sprawling blockbuster. It’s the endlessly entertaining animated show The Legend of Vox Machina.
