In the last few years, sci-fi TV shows have become appointment viewing on every streaming service, while each platform continues to hunt for new hits to keep audiences drawn in. Apple TV has become a popular destination for sci-fi shows, especially thanks to new releases like Severance and Pluribus, which have been going back and forth claiming records from each other. Another extremely underrated Apple TV sci-fi show is Silo, starring Rebecca Ferguson. Apple TV recently brought back Silo for its third season after a two-year hiatus, and the show has already been renewed for Season 4, which was shot back-to-back with Season 3. Prime Video has found the perfect alternative to Silo with one of its wackiest sci-fi series, which is expected to return for its third (and hopefully not final) season in 2027.
